FAAR is a platform dedicated to inspire, advance, and support interdisciplinary collaboration towards the shared interests between the fashion and aerospace industries.
FAAR has been a catalyst for this conversation through panels and participatory events, as well as interactive design thinking workshops in the local area and around the country.
Working with a diverse range of teams to create products and product strategies for companies in the activewear, VR and aerospace industries, in addition to other fashion companies.
I conceptualized and co-produced a two-day conference in Brooklyn, New York, hosting over a hundred attendees from fashion, technology, business and academia. The conference consisted of panels, keynotes, design sprints, and a full-day design thinking workshop.
The challenge: Design a concept and business model for a womens space that offers all the essential services she may need, reducing her transitions throughout the day.
Designed to launch in New York City, the club should have a distinctive ethos, which is both unique and repeatable.

The Challenge: to create an outerwear brand that could bridge necessary function with an elevated aesthetic for women living in cities.
The result: Starkweather, a brand based on a layering principle, using low and high-tech solutions to maintain optimum warmth, while reducing bulk, and timeless details over athletic design components.
